Day 03·State, Events & Mobile Interaction
Lecture·1 / 39
Why this day exists
Yesterday's button can report a press, but the screen stays unchanged.
A useful mobile interaction needs memory: what the person typed, whether an action is available, and what the screen should show after the action.
The difficult part is not making values change. It is deciding which facts deserve memory and which values should be calculated from those facts.
That decision keeps the visible screen, keyboard path, and press behavior from disagreeing.
